Yael Stone

Yael Stone is an Australian actor famous for playing parts such as Lorna Morello in Orange Is the New Black Peretta Jones in Childhood's End and Dora Lumley in the film Picnic at Hanging Rock. She also appeared in many films and television shows like Spirited High Maintenance Deep Water Penn Zero Part-Time Hero The Wilde Wedding. She is a vocal advocate for rights to abortion as well as the defense of climate is widely known. Balmain Public is where she was educated. She then completed her studies at Newtown High School of the Performing Arts and The National Institute of Dramatic Art (both in New South Australia, Australia).

Madekwe was born South London, England into an ethnically diverse family. Her father is Nigerian and Swiss and the mother of her is English. She grew up in a south London community estate, where she attended The Brit School at age fourteen. She received her Bachelor of Arts in acting from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
