Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born on March 14th, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio U.S.A.) American Gymnast is considered to be one of the sport's best athletes. The 2016 Olympics took place in Rio de Janeiro and Biles was the U.S.'s first female gymnast ever to be awarded four gold medals. She also claimed the world title for all-around 3 times in succession (2013-15). Biles, along with her siblings Adria and Ronald Biles were adopted as children by the grandparents of Houston. Simone began to take an interest in the sport of gymnastics as a young girl during a day-care field trip in Bannon's Gymnastix and remained there for eleven years under the guidance of her coach Aimee Boorman. Biles received a silver medal for vaulting, as well as a gold medal on the floor gymnastics at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. The year 2011 saw her begin playing in elite levels of gymnastics competition. Within less than two years, she was the most successful athlete in her discipline. The thing that set Biles out was her consistency her fun-loving personality, and the extreme level of effort she put into her routines throughout the four events she competed in: vault uneven bars balance beam and floor exercises.
