Coleman was raised in Blackpool, Lancashire. She was a headgirl in the Arnold School, Blackpool and had straight A's at her A levels. Steven Moffat revealed at a Doctor Who Press Conference on the 21st of March that Coleman was to play Matt Smith as the Doctor's Companion after Karen Gillan, Arthur Darvill and others left the show. Moffat picked her to play the role because she is the most efficient when working with Smith and could speak more rapidly than the actor. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She's been working in the entertainment industry since 1987. However she has had a greater presence on television than in films. Of the many roles Eva has appeared in, on TV shows Dr. Maria Santos in All My Children and Detective Natalia Boa Vista' in CSI Miami are the two that are the most notable. The former even earned her two nominations for the Daytime Emmy Awards and allowed her to experiment with her talents in music. Eva is a businesswoman, and also an actress. She has been married three times and has a daughter with her second partner.

Cassie Scerbo is an American performer and actor who came into the spotlight when she was picked to sing in the group of all girls called 'Slumber Party Girls' that hosted the children's music variety show Dance Revolution on CBS in the early 2000s. Madekwe was born South London, England into an ethnically diverse family. Her father is Nigerian and Swiss and the mother of her is English. She grew up in a south London community estate, where she attended The Brit School at age fourteen. She received her Bachelor of Arts in acting from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
