Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco was born in Canada. She is American. She has released over 20 albums. DiFranco's music has been classified as folk rock as well as alternative rock, but it also has influences from punk funk hip hop and jazz. Ani Difranco has been widely acknowledged as a pioneer of feminist music. In the year 1990, she was among the first to establish her own label independently. DiFranco was a born on the 23rd of September, 1970, in Buffalo New York. Her parents were Elizabeth (Ross), from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and Dante Americo DiFranco. Her mother hails from Montreal and her father has Italian origins. Ani DiFranco composed and sang 32 Flavors. The song is featured on her sixth studio album Not a Pretty Girl released in 1995.
