Summer glau

Firefly is Whedon s next huge popular television show. It is likely that she left an indelible impression because the one episode that she appeared on led to her becoming an acclaimed actress. Summer Glau was very good in her role as the complicated of River Tam. The character of Tam was made to be a part of government experiments in which she was trained to be an assassin. Tam had difficulty learning to manage her emotions due to. Glau was able to display not just her acting talents, but her skills as a combat ace on Firefly. The fact that she was training to become an assassin enabled Glau to fully use her athletic abilities. Summer Glau has been a ballerina since she was as a young girl. She has also studied flamenco and tango, however a broken foot ended her dance career. Firefly was only on for one season, but it gained a loyal following. Whedon was so devoted to Firefly that he decided to return two years after. Summer Glau, however, received quality work. Madekwe was born South London, England into an ethnically diverse family. Her father is Nigerian and Swiss and the mother of her is English. She grew up in a south London community estate, where she attended The Brit School at age fourteen. She received her Bachelor of Arts in acting from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
