Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding - born Elena Jane Goulding (30 December 1986) in Hereford (England) She is an English singer/songwriter. Ellie Goulding's infectious electronic sound rapidly pushed her into the top of the charts when she drew the attention of the public in 2010. Her ability to accomplish this through the songs "Starry Eyed" and "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Her unique soprano sibilance and knack of writing captivating, yet emotional songs, Goulding, much like her predecessors Kate Bush and Imogen Heap has a place at the cutting edge of the current mainstream and artistic, non-conformist pop.Goulding was soon moving from blogs to print media, garnering the attention of mainstream magazines like The Guardian and fielding offers from record companies. Madekwe was born South London, England into an ethnically diverse family. Her father is Nigerian and Swiss and the mother of her is English. She grew up in a south London community estate, where she attended The Brit School at age fourteen. She received her Bachelor of Arts in acting from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
